Exhibition ‘’VACD Beyond the Surface’’

The Exhibition titled ‘’VACD Beyond the Surface’’ was opened on Thursday, January 14, 2016 in the IUS Art Gallery. The Exhibition was organized by the students of the VACD MA program of the Faculty Arts and Social Sciences (FASS). Students Zlata Delić, Bedriye Fank, Haris Heljo and Emir Hambo had the opportunity to present within the course “Project Studio 1”, the visual segment of their study titled ''Beyond the Surface“, under the supervision of Prof. Kenan Zekić. This Exhibition is part of the process of instruction and final exams in the winter semester. The students presented their four works with different topics - resolution gaming applications on the basis of the Divine Comedy of Dante Alighieri, conceptual art in Islam, cultural aspect of hijab, understanding and perception of speech defects presented in elements of visual communication.

The opening of the Exhibition was attended by the Chairman of the IUS Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Hasan Zuhuri Sarıkaya, who came to IUS on official visit, IUS Rector, Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu, Secretary General of the IUS Emir Hadžikadunić, and many other professors and students. All visitors were more than delighted with the exhibited pieces and their interesting concept. The aim of the Exhibition is related to the educational process within the course ''Project Studio 1'', and its presentation to the public. This Exhibition will last until January 21, every day in the period from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
