From Sarajevo to Gran Canaria: Prof. Teparić Represents IUS at UNAM’s International Week
Prof. Dr. Meliha Teparić from the IUS Visual Arts and Visual Communications Design (VACD) study program participated in the 4th International Week hosted by the Universidad del Atlántico Medio (UNAM) in Gran Canaria, Spain.
Prof. Teparić took part in a round table discussion on the topic Internationalization Beyond the EU: Africa and the Western Balkans. The round table was moderated by Prof. Martin Klose from HWG Ludwigshafen University (Germany). The discussion focused on collaboration in teaching and research with universities from Africa and the Western Balkans.
As part of the International Week program, Prof. Teparić also visited the UN World Food Programme (WFP) and Casa África, a Spanish governmental organization dedicated to promoting educational, economic, and cultural initiatives to foster mutual understanding and strengthen Hispanic-African relations. During these meetings, Prof. Teparić explored opportunities for cultural exchange and collaboration.
This visit marked the first Erasmus+ exchange partnership between IUS and UNAM, initiated by Prof. Teparić.
