About IUS Art Gallery
IUS Art Gallery is a modern campus art space which provides students and staff with high quality exhibitions and events in order to broaden their educational experience and knowledge. The aim of the gallery is to offer an ambitious program of monthly exhibitions and to provide a varied and challenging set of displays. The Gallery program runs from September through June. The Gallery features exhibition openings, artists’ talks, and artists’ workshops.
Furthermore, the gallery partially serves as an integral part of the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching process. The final annual exhibition, which is open during the summer, is a student exhibition comprising photographs, architectural drawings, paintings and multimedia work submitted over the course of the year. The annual students’ exhibition and close student involvement in the development of an ongoing program are vital components of our art gallery.
Alongside national artists, IUS Art Gallery also hosts regional and international artists within solo or group thematic exhibitions.
The gallery is capable of being adapted to multiple uses: for exhibitions, performances, film screenings, and it is available for seminars, workshops, press conferences, etc.
The gallery offers a rich cultural life to the University – it is a hub/center of art and culture at our campus.
